To understand this topic, it is vital to have an understanding of selection strategy. Please familiarize yourself with selection strategy before continuing.

Creating a selection filter


In our example, a filter was created using Create search. Germany was selected as country, and after clicking Group, the groups Fitness subscription - 12 months and Services - massages were included in the selection. The Create search function in the WBS found two contacts meeting these criteria. Although there are several contacts with a 12-month fitness subscription or contacts who are massage customers, only two of them live in Germany.

To save this filter for future use, click the gray Save as button.


Saving a selection filter


a) Enter a name for the filter.

b) Select the folder to which you want to save the filter.

c) Then click Save.


Loading a previously saved selection filter


a) Click the selection icon for saved filters.

b) Point the cursor to the folder containing the previously saved filter and select the filter from the list that opens.


The selected filter will immediately be activated and supply you a filtered list of fitness enthusiasts in Germany.


Managing selection filters


a) Click the selection icon for saved filters.

b) Click Manage filters.

In the window that opens, you will now see all the available options for managing filters. Here, you can create new filter folders, and rename or delete folders or filters.

Enter a name for the folder, and click Add.

Click the name of a folder or filter to unhide the two buttons for editing and deleting the respective item.
