Customer login configuration

(Access management)

Your registered contacts can sign in to your website as well as to your WBS. The same login data is used for both.

a) Select 'Customer admin' in WebConnector. The Settings and links page will be displayed, which contains all the login details that are needed for your contacts to access your WBS admin.

b) This URL constitutes the direct login to your WBS. It contains your WBS company ID, which ensures that a user can only sign in to your WBS, not any other WBS. You can copy this entry and insert it anywhere on your website as link target address. This allows you to separate your website and your WBS for your contacts and customers.

c) Enter the maximum width of your WBS customer login page.

d) Enter the height of your WBS customer login page.

e) Where appropriate, enter the link to your own CSS file.

f) Where appropriate, enter your own CSS code.

g) This line contains the HTML code for embedding your WBS customer login on a website that you create for this purpose. This code contains the entire above-mentioned entry - see b) - with your WBS company ID.

h) This URL takes you to the website that your WBS customer should see when signing in.

i) Use Save or update to save your changes.

Enabling customer login on your website

(Access management)

After embedding the WBS customer login on a website, the following screen will appear (an additional content page with menu item was used here in a test account).

a) WBS access is included as a menu item.

b) The source code of the content page was expanded with the help of the embedding link, which results in the page displaying the login window for the WBS.

Changing/translating field labels

(Access management)

Each input field in the WBS customer admin has a field label. This field label can be changed or translated if you want a different language displayed to your customers in the WBS.

a) Select the Translation tab in WebConnector's Customer admin.

b) The input fields are grouped according to topics. Individual groups can be accessed directly by clicking the internal hyperlinks, saving you time.

c) Change the respective field label.

d) Save your changes.

Assigning user rights

(Access management)

Until you change the basic settings (no rights), your WBS contact will see the following screen when signing in and calling up his profile page (all fields are locked):

It is, however, possible to allow registered contacts to make certain changes to their respective data.

a) In 'Customer admin', click Customer may make changes.

b) Activate the checkboxes of all the fields that your contact is permitted to modify.

c) Save your changes.

In our example, the contact has been granted the right to make changes to his address, telephone numbers and website:

This allows your contact to change these details in his profile after signing in.

The respective input fields are open, and an update button has been added, which the contact can use to save his changes.
