a) Click the Settings icon

b) The General button is selected by default - click the Data fields button

c) Specify the starting number for the allocation of contact or customer numbers. 

d) Specify the country that a contact should be assigned by default.

e) Specify the language that a contact should be assigned by default.

f) Use the button +Add additional data field to create additional data fields for contact data.

 



 

Creating additional data fields

g) Select the type of field you wish to create.

h) Specify its position in the article management.

i) Specify the countries for which the additional data field is to be used.

k) Check the checkbox if the additional data field is also to be used for invoices or as a macro in QuickShop.

l) Check the checkbox to specify whether the default values (see above) are to be used for all new contacts.

m) Save your entries with the Save button.

 
 

 

Editing additional data fields

o) Depending on the type of field, you can use the EDIT function for the additional data field to enter additional information.

p) After the first save, the Save button will appear as an Update button.

 
 

 


 

Working with additional data fields

Once you have specified additional data fields, these can be used in the customer overview with the edit function.

Additional data fields can also be used in WebConnector forms. Instructions on how to generate forms can be found here:

After clicking the "Edit" button in the customer overview, the window on the right will open. This is where you will find the additional data fields.

Additional data fields containing information are displayed in the customer overview once the relevant columns have been activated for display.
